Nashville SC Receives $175,000 in General Allocation Money; Moves up to the 9th pick in the Second Round of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 21, 2021) – Nashville Soccer Cub announced today it has traded a 2021 international spot and the club’s Second Round selection (46th overall) in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas, to Vancouver Whitecaps FC for $175,000 in General Allocation Money and the Whitecaps’ natural Second Round selection (36th overall). In addition, Nashville SC will send General Allocation Money to Vancouver based on performance benchmarks of the player selected.
With the trade, Nashville SC now owns the 20th overall pick in the First Round, the 9th pick (36th overall) in the Second Round, and the 19th (74th overall), 20th (75th overall) and 32nd (86th overall) selections in the Third Round.
