In his return to Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Walker Zimmerman helped lift the MLS All-Stars in their 1-1 (3-2 PKs) win over Mexico’s Liga MX All-Stars in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game pres. by Target. The Nashville SC center back, a two-time All-Star, started for MLS and was active early and often, playing the entirety of the first half and winning several headers. Zimmerman’s night was finished after halftime, with Atlanta United’s Miles Robinson subbing in for him at the start of the second half.
