Key Storylines
Familiar Foe – BJ Callaghan is facing off against Gregg Berhalter as a head coach for the first time when both teams take the field at GEODIS Park on Saturday. Callaghan joined the USMNT in 2019 and served as an assistant coach under Gregg Berhalter on the USMNT for the majority of his time with the USMNT.
BJ also won the 2023 Concacaf Nations League as interim head coach.

Matchup History – The Boys in Gold love to play against the Chicago Fire. Nashville SC is unbeaten at home against the Fire (3W-0L-1D)and have outscored Chicago 13-3 in series history. Hany Mukhtar also has a personal history with the Fire having scored two hat tricks against them.
Homegrown History – Chris Applewhite became the second Nashville SC Homegrown player in Club history to step onto to the field last Saturday against the Seattle Sounders. At just 17 years and 239 days old, he also became the youngest player to appear for the first team, and the seventh-youngest player to make his MLS debut in 2025.
Applewhite registered one clearance, one recovery, and one duel won in his 9 minute debut against the Sounders.
