Nashville Soccer Club Introduced "Treble Trouble" As New Mascot in Partnership with Make-a-wish® Middle Tennesse

Make A Wish Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 23, 2023) – Nashville Soccer Club, in a special collaboration with Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, introduced this past weekend the addition of Treble Trouble as the sidekick to the team's official mascot, Tempo the Coyote.

Originating from the vicinity of GEODIS Park, Treble, a spirited coyote, became an avid observer of Nashville SC games following the grand opening of the largest soccer specific stadium in the U.S. and Canada on May 1, 2022. Since then, his howls have echoed with enthusiasm the chants from The Backline Supporters Collective during Nashville SC matches, making his life-long goal clear: becoming the best soccer player in the entire animal kingdom.

After a triumphant game, Nashville SC Head Coach, Gary Smith, discovered Treble perfecting his soccer techniques with an improvised yarn ball in the stadium’s parking lot. Smith recognized Treble’s potential and took it upon himself to further nurture the coyote's talents. Treble’s exceptional abilities, notably his unique tail-driven ball curves, led fans to dub him "Treble Trouble."

In a move to make wishes come true, and to deepen the connection with the club’s fanbase, Nashville SC and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee granted the wish of 13-year-old Grayson this past weekend. Grayson was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, which qualified him for a wish.  He aspires to be a professional sports team mascot and was given a special role on Saturday’s match during Nashville SC’s Fan Appreciation Night as he became Tempo the Coyote’s sidekick for the night. Footage from the night can be found in the media resources.
