Things to Know

A Wealth of Experience – Najar is another incoming signing who has experience abroad and in Major League Soccer. The Honduran kicked off his career at D.C. United after developing in their academy. After a stint at LAFC and another stop at D.C., Najar joins the Boys in Gold with 159 MLS regular season appearances. He also has 20 appearances in the UEFA Europa League during his time with Anderlecht.

Four-time Champ – During his time in Belgium, Najar picked up two league titles (2013/14, 2016/17) and a Belgian Super Cup (2014/15). He added a Honduran Clausura winner’s medal to his trophy cabinet in 2024.

International Play – Najar has 55 appearances for Honduras across the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, World Cup Qualifiers, CONCACAF Nations League, Gold Cup, and international friendlies. Najar has already shared the field with fellow recent signing Bryan Acosta at the international level.
