Things to Know
European Experience – The 21-year-old made 87 appearances for Elfsborg during his time with the Swedish club. Notching 11 goals and 13 assists across all competitions, the Swede made his mark in domestic and international competitions. While playing in the Europa League – Europe’s second tier of international club competition – Qasem faced off against notable names such as Tottenham Hotspur, Galatasaray, AS Roma, Athletic Club, and others. He also started every match for Elfsborg in the 2024/25 Europa League group stage.
International Play – Qasem has made 10 appearances and scored three times for Sweden at the U-19 international level. At the U-21 level, Qasem has five appearances.

Swedish Connection – Qasem will occupy a U-22 roster slot alongside midfielder Patrick Yazbek. Nashville SC’s acquisition of Qasem marks the third player to join the Boys in Gold from the Swedish first division after Patrick Yazbek and Eddi Tagseth.
