Singer/songwriter Jessie James Decker will perform the national anthem before Nashville SC’s nationally-televised match against Inter Miami CF pres. by Hyundai this Sunday, May 2 at noon CT. Tickets are still available here.
Decker got her start in music right here in Nashville at age 19. In her debut 2009 album, Jessie James, she charted on the top 40 with her single ‘Wanted’ and the album ranked at number 23 on Billboard 200. She went on to release her second studio album, Southern Girl City Lights, in 2017. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. In January 2020, she signed a new record deal with Atlantic/Warner Music.
She has also made a name for herself in reality TV with Eric & Jessie: Game On, a reality show based around her life with her husband Eric, a former NFL wide receiver. The show ran for three seasons from 2013 to 2017.
After the show ended, Decker switched gears to fashion, opening a women’s fashion brand called Kittenish. Decker has opened two Kittenish retail stores while also designing a popular boot line. On top of all of that, Decker has also entered the culinary world with the release of her first cookbook, Just Feed Me, in September 2020, topping The New York Times and Amazon Best Sellers list.
Decker still lives in Nashville with Eric and their three children.
