NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 2, 2022) – Nashville Soccer Club wrapped up its 2022 MLS regular season home schedule in the inaugural year at GEODIS Park tonight in a 1-2 defeat against Houston Dynamo FC. Despite the result, the Boys in Gold clinched a playoff spot in the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs for the third consecutive season after a 2-1 loss by the Portland Timbers to LAFC earlier today.
Three Years In The League, Three Playoff Appearances: After clinching a spot in the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs for its third consecutive season in the league, Nashville SC joins an elite group of clubs to have clinched a playoff berth in each of their first three season (Chicago Fire, Seattle Sounders FC, Atlanta United FC and LAFC).
